I have added both huge (1.5mb each) and small (20-60k each) pictures of the Japanese RBI Game (Family Stadium 87) and instructions. Check them out on the Media Page.

Added the team names for Family Stadium and an explanation for Tim Burks (thanks to Ryan Strass) to the FAQ. Made other slight FAQ touchups. Anyone out there who knows Japanese? If so, translate those team names and let me know.

The Japanese RBI Game (aka Family Stadium 87) and uncut label sheet arrived today! Writeups on the game to come shortly. The label sheet is really just a roll of RBI stickers, a bit disappointed with that one...

Since the Japanese RBI uses a different size cartridge from the NES, I have to find myself a Famicom-to-NES adapter before I can play it. I've been searching EBay and nothing has come up yet. If anyone out there knows where I can buy one E-Mail me.

Potsie managed yet another new low by losing 23-2 to Sperling on Saturday... in 2 innings! To his credit, he was completely hammered, but 23-2? That deserves a new page, the Potsie Hall of Shame!

Congrats to Lips for hitting six homers with Kirk Gibson in a nine-inning game. First time that's ever been done, and I unfortunately was the recipient of it. He also tied the record for most consecutive homers with 7 (tied with yours truly & Harry Speilman).

In terms of the website, I've added some more info regarding the history of RBI and the various companies involved. It still isn't perfect, but that's all I currently know. Check it out in the FAQ. I also added pics of the Japanese RBI game and uncut label sheets I won on EBay. Neither has arrived yet, but you can see what I won on the Media Page.

Hey all, I've decided to use the main page to keep everyone abreast of recent updates. I figured since you all bookmark the main RBI page, it should be the place for updates. Besides, the old index was really nothing more than an advertisement for the navigaton bar on the left side. Now you have true dynamic content, bookmark and enjoy!

I know it looks like ass right now but I'll shortly figure out a way to make it look better. For now just live with the horizonal rows and crappy formatting until I find a nice-looking website to steal my ideas from (smiley).
