February 2003 ArchivesFebruary 27, 2003Pool poor Jose Canseco, he can't keep himself out of trouble. He has now been arrested for violating his probation. The Hall of Shame page has been updated. Get well soon Jose! With the impending demise of the dee-nee house (we're moving out in August), we finally started taking on our Nintendo collection. Potsie and I have taken down Rygar, Astanax and Dynowarz this week. We're currently working on Kings of the Beach and the terrible Phantom Fighter. Check out the NES Victory page for updates... A couple of updates for the friends of dee-nee - Erik has a new email address and Jason had a birthday and a new favorite Taco Bell meal (thanks to their reinstatement of the Chilito). And no, that isn't really Jason - it came from a random mullet website...
February 18, 2003Introduing the newest site to the Dee-Nee family - the RBI Central Network. The page has all the details but basically I will host any RBI Baseball related site free of charge. Check it out yo and start making your page! A few more nuggets for the Hall Of Shame - Dave Henderson gets busted for DUI and Jose Canseco is a criminal at large. Just because they don't play ball doesn't mean your favorite RBI player stays out of the headlines... Quick Sperling update - he is stil at Fort McCoy, getting a whole bunch of shots. Doesn't know where he's going yet...
February 11, 2003Pretty somber times in the land of the dee-nee house, as Sperling, co-inventor of the RBI Drinking Game and 2000 RBI Champion, has been called up from his National Guard Reserve role to active duty. We don't know where he is going yet, but all signs point to overseas and possibly the Middle East. In the span of one week Sperling has left his two jobs, moved out of the Dee-Nee house, got engaged and left his family/friends for destinations unknown. I'll be sure to pass along any new information as it comes along, but we all wish Sperling the best of luck and hope to see him very soon. War sucks... With Sperling gone for what could be a year, we have decided to incorporate a new memeber into our yearly RBI Tourney. A new member will emerge out of a qualifying tourney to play with the big boys. More details as they come, but it is not open to the public...
